Great blower
Reviewed a few other before this purchase. Many with power recommended noise protection. Reviews on this Sid it was lighter and quite pricey than other but just as powerful. I’m very pleased with this. Good battery life, about 25 minutes to recharge, adjustable blower speed makes it very handy for which ever job you neeed it for. Plenty of power, light weight, not too noisy.Mike
Ditch the gas!
I have been a gas blower user for many years. When my blower of 14 -years just died, I decided to go electric- avoid mixing fuel and smelling like a refinery. I did my homework. The Greenworks blower was the winner for the price, or should I say I am! I have a German Shepherd and an outdoor cat that both shed a lot. Funny, they both prefer the garage to the great outdoors; that said, the garage had more hair than a dirty salon. My new Greenworks 24252 blower does a fantastic job. No more gas smell and yanking on a pull cord, no more endless sweeping. It lasts long enough to blow the 3 car garage, long drive, sidewalks and just uses 1/2 battery. It takes about as long to charge as I use it- 15 min. run time takes 15 min to recharge to full. I have never gotten below 1/4 battery remaining. BTW, I only need the lowest power setting to clear everything. I wish I had purchased this long ago!Upatoi
Cordless blower did not "rock" my world
This blower is great for sidewalks and driveways. It is NOT good for blowing leaves from between rocks. I have a mostly rock yard and bought this blower based on the review of another purchaser who said it was powerful enough to blow rocks. It is not. Also you have to charge the battery frequently which I expected but you can upgrade to a 4.0 AH battery if you want to spend the extra money. Guess I will now be purchasing a leaf vacuum.SAinSA
Leaf Blower Basics
This particular model does not output sufficient air volume or air velocities to be effective in blowing a thick covering of leaves or heavier objects like twigs, etc., off grass. It will work fine if your requirements are light-duty cleanups such as blowing leaves or dirt off driveways or patio decks.

For heavier workloads look for a blower which is capable of blowing higher volumes of air or cubic feet per minute (CFM) airflow.

I returned the device and found a more capable blower that has up to 480 CFM volume and air velocity of 124 mph. Air velocity, another measure of blowing capacity, should be a consideration as well. The higher the numbers (CFM & MPH), the more effective object moving capabilities.YardCleanupMan

Works great, I don't have heavy stuff to clean, just leaves and dust so works perfect for my situation. I previously used a electric corded blower @160MPH - this is equally as good, and very versatile.HG
